Thread: 2-hand counter attack Question
I noticed that I am counter attacking with my weapon, but i am only Brawler: 2-hand 4 now.. and habe no counter attack ability . I don't think we get that until Novice Swordsman. So why am i counter attacking on a regular basis.
Secondly if u have another weapon skill like carbine, do the 2 abilities stack so u could in theory get +45 counterattack ability from both Carbine +20 and 2-Hand +25?
I seem to counter more times than i get missed, and that is better than a miss.
+45? i'm master sword/brawler and i have +110.
would like to know if it stackes with carbineer though, that'd be uber.
Oh, as far as counterattack/dodge/block being better than a miss...for the most part I would rather take a miss than a counterattack/dodge/block. Why? Things like bleeds and fire dots will still be applied if you counterattack and wear you down whereas you won't be stuck with a dot effect if you are flat out missed.
Just a strategy thing, if you find your opponent is counterattacking/dodging/blocking try hitting them with your bleeds. With the strength of the swordsman mind bleeds it won't take them long to take your opponent's mind down to 1 point leaving them unable to use specials of their own. After that all it takes is one hit anywhere to any of their HAM bars to knock them out.
Dodge= Pistoleer/Fencer, both are able to specifically target the health bar - Dual Master = +210
Block = Rifleman/Pikeman, why are these seperate? why is one action the other mind?? Dual Master = +185
Counterattack = Carbineer/Heavy Swordsman, again.. why the target mix up. - Dual Master = +205
Why aren't they matching according to what each combat profession can specifically target. This would make somebody who is (like a pistoleer/fencer) a dual combatent extremely strong. Why is sony not thinking (again) before acting??
Yes a dual master would be very powerful.. but thats it.. they have very little for other professions.. so they are strong in one area but weak in another...
