when i attack a lair the damage speed is the same with my 2h curved as my powerhammer.

5.4 spd hammer and 1.9 spd 2h curved. WHY?? 2h curved has become obsolete in PvP for me because they attack the same speed and hammer does way more damage.

have they done some kind of speed cap in the last patch? didnt used to be this way, used to even out with my sword being so fast that it'd do just as much damage in the same amount of time because of the speed issue..

there is now and has always been a speed cap of 1.0

thats why pistols do less damage than they would do ideally (even though the pistoleer class itself is overpowered)

thats why fencers dont do very much damage

thats why TKA dont do infinite (literally, infinate) damage with speed sliced knucklers at master (a TKA with speed sliced knucklers with master speed mods, without the speed cap, attacks at 0.0)

as you get closer and closer to master swordsman, your power hammer will catch up with your curved sword in speed, but it will never hit the 1.0 cap because of its slow base speed

you won't hit the cap, unless of course you have a +25 two-handed speed piece of clothing

Lairs are resistant to blast. Read your combat spam and the numbers of the lair. ALWAYS use kinetic on lairs.
