I dueled some guy with a pistol, as soon as I challenged him (foolish move), he brought out a flamethrower and flame Dotted me. We set no DB at the beginning of the fight, but his fire DOT somehow incapped and KILLED me (giving me some 600 wounds and a 5% item decay).

What the hell? Why don't bleeds incap, but fire does?

Yea I'd really like an explanation on this too. I saw a poor guy die after being flamed the other day. He had already killed his oppenent and was running around begging for a heal but on one got to him in time. If thats not a DOT then I don't know what is. Somehow the devs managed to nerf the already underpowered melee classes by screwing up our dots and left the uber commandos alone.

Its because of the wounds....

Somhow the combination of the Damage and the wound damage can cause an Incap. Ask a CM to Poison and disease you and it will give the same effect. No Answer form the Devs has been given on it yet tho
