I think a good idea for a high level sword would be a Rune Sword. It would be very long, a dark silver color, and an intricate handle. The blade would have ancient letters running down the side, maybe spelling out something. Give weaponsmiths an ability to change the avatar of the sword to alter the saying of the letters. Maybe 5 different options, much like weapons can have scopes / muzzles on their avatars. The certification for this sword would be at novice swordsman, maybe higher, and would deal very much damage with fairly high ham costs.

Sounds too much like a D&D type sword to me. I'd rather them add some cool high tech sword.

I agree with both posts...I think most people want

1) 2 or 3 high tech swords with different damage types
2) Another archaic style sword, as large or larger than the cleaver
3) The scythe

I just want a long vibro sword, like the ones found in Star wars KOTOR.
