Ok, Been looking for a few days, but I cant seem to find them EVER. If I get in a group we find them fast, without splitting up. I really want to do these solo, but I need to find them, any tips, or suggestions?

I've been having the same problem. I am convinced that the spawn works on the same principle as the mission terminals... and a solo artist no matter how strong is simply not going to get one to spawn. Its utter garbage, but I've got hours of empty graveyard to back up my theory... as soon as a guild comes in, bang a krayt spawns (and I"m now outgunned and unable to get the kill)

I don't know much about the scythe quest but I've heard that it spawns a krayt.. might wanna give that a go

Went krayt hunting a few times this week. Spawn rates were up and down. Hit some unbelievable patches of spawns, and then totally dead. And as far as the solo theory goes....last night I was at the yard waiting by myself for my team to show up. BAM, Ancient spawns right next to me. Then later on, while grouped with 4 strong combat players, we combed the area for over 1 1/2 hours finding nothing. I would love to solo krayts. Don't know about your servers, but on Ahazi it's almost impossible. Too many other players out there. If I find one to solo, 99.9% of the time others will come out of the woodwork within a minute to attack the krayt as well. So I always bring a few friends so we have a shot at loot rights.

i DID RUN ACROSS SOMEONE FIGHTING THE KRAYT FOR THE QUEST, BUT THE BOX DESPAWNED BEFORE HE GOT IT, AND TWO HITS FROM DEAD THE KRAYT DESPAWNED ON ME

I am also on tarq and have noticed a decrease in the number of Kryats near the graveyard. (seems to have started around the time the imperial bases were destroyed)
