Definitely swordsman... buffed and with a good scyth or hammer nothing beats us for damage in pve. Rifleman's great also, but you'll always be kiting if you're solo, and you'll lose damage since you'll be moving and at close range to the target.

Doc/Swordsman easily outdamages rifleman in PVE. I will never change my template, have tried many, but doc/swordsman seemed to grow on me.

I dont mean to second guess u...but what about the fact that rifleman has heavy piercing?

I considered going doctor/swordsman but I have no patience to get all the medical and crafting exp. I just can't sit there and heal a tumbler for hours on end or sit and craft I hate it. I got up to novice doctor... that was it.

Instead I went TKA and Swordsman. That gives you a number of defensive boosts not the least of which this combo proves extremely effective and you don't even need master TKA for it.

Unarmed Lunge 2 (master brawler) which knocks down, followed with unarmed dizzy 1, target is knocked down and dizzied and will usually flop around the ground like a fish. Switch to Power Hammer or Scythe Blade depending on resistance and proceed to attack the lowest pool. While prone on the ground I've seen hits for over 7000+ on a target.

You'll also get meditate, power boost and force of will.

For example the other day I was in Bestine, I just did the scythe schematic quest. I only had Ubese armor on with max 70% kinetic which I use for grinding, no buffs other then food and spices. I noticed a number of imperials standing around a player who had title (dark saber duelist)and he was showing off to imperials.

Hit tab and yep he had TEF. Now you can call it a cheap but I couldn't resist... using a 1.9 speed scythe blade 300+ dmg this is the result. Had I been buffed I would've taken out the other imps as well and most of the dmg was done by me spamming styles using up HAM and not healing myself. It was a sorta kamikazi mission He was also not wearing a helmet...

I got one mind strike, and 8scalp strikesto his oneswing on me to incapacitate him before any of his friends knew what was going on. Then I spammed two handed area attack 3 and cap'd one other before the rest managed to finish me. However with COB up I noticed them missing constantly. For half an hour afterwards I had to read this Dark Saber Duelist talk trash and whine at me. Apparently I should've let him and all his friends know when I was going to attack and he wanted to duel again.
