whoops...

Anyway What does that mean exactly?? Its there gonna be a limit to how much defense we can have? like 190 or 150 or somthin?

Or are they stopping cross class comboing all together?
I dont know what TH meant by this.

I wish they would lets us know in a bit more of a specific manner.

Instead of "hey your getting nerfed... but were not sure how yet"

Well, im pretty sure its a nerf. Just not sure how bador big of a nerf yet till they give us the numbers on what the caps will be. I've been beggin TH to give me some kind of response to no avail.


/sigh



I would just like to know AHEAD of time what the nerf bat will bring so I can adjust my character according and at my own pace.

I believe that they are implementing a hard cap on amount that certain, but not all, defenses will stack. This would curtail some of the imbalances in the system. So defenses will still stack, but only to a certain extent.

Really anything we see at this point though is probably just a stop-gap measure while we wait on the combat rebalance.

Thanks for trying to clear that up gabe...

But that still leaves a lot to be desired...
What defense skills will/wont stack and how much will they stack???
Will OUR counter attack stack with Carbine counterattack?
im sure evrey other class has the same question about dodge and block.

We need numbers here.
We need to specific skill changes.

If one skill ends stacking and others dont... oh gawd... these boards are gonna FLOOD with "I GOT NERFED" and "WE MIGHT AS WELL ALL BE THE NEW UBER CLASS"

I hope this doesnt happen to end up as poorly implemented as the "bleed fix"
PLEASE DEVS BE THOUROGH AND TEST THROUROUGHLY... And dont implement it if it isnt working right cuz thats just going to cause WAAAAAAY too much whinning.

And another thing... Why implament somthing now that they'll just change in the big combat Re-vamps? Seems counter productive...

We totally deserve to know... im sure they know we do. Im just wondering if they know what the changes are actually gonna be. Only testing will tell if they work.

lol, get some decaf. To your question, I assume, why implement defenses if they are going to change them? That's how it goes. It's a good idea

Just too powerful. People found ways to get too much defense. So they ahevt o cap it so there aren't any uber templates anymore.

I know that... i meant for future "combat revamps"

I know the ubber boobs need some nerfage... having over 210 melee defense is too tempting for 1337ster wankers.

But I just what the facts you know...
I say again:
What is the cap going to be? ...I WANT NUMBERS.
What defense skills will/wont stack? ... I WANT SKILL LISTS.

I seriously doubt that WE swordsmen are even part of the UBER template... Heck rifflemen can tank better than a pure swordsman considering their melee defense.

PATIENCE. Those were just some major changes. There will be much much more. You just have to wait for themto getit all in order.
