Thread: What type of armor?

Well, my first holo read swordsman so here I am. So far I have just been getting buffed by master doctors and using my power hammer to do baz nitch missions, I do them fairly well, with a few occasional close calls. Im currently 0/1/1/1, I accidently put 1 into defense, but Im very glad I did, the spin is real nice.
Anyways, my next big purchase was probably going to be some sort of kinetic suit so I can do these missions that much easier. Im curious, what type of armor should I buy, and what price are we talking here? I play on the lowca server incase that can help you estimate a good suit.

Am not sure if i am qualified to answer as have only been a swordsman myself for a little while, but when i replaced my 45% Chiton suit with a 67/68% ubese suit i saw a large drop in the amount of damage done to me - so i would personally use good kinetic ubese which on infinity you can get a full suit of for about 110k (i think). I have not tried composite but then i do not like the stat changes u need to make for the full suit so....

A good set of 70 -80% Kinetic resist Ubese will do the trick. I just mastered in about 10 days running piket missions on Dantooine. You will see a huge diffrence in the protection it offers.

I got my self a good suit of light Adv composite armour 59% dam accross the board with a slice i got it to 69% it pretty good stuff even for a TKM which i am as well and does help with the dam reduction

Well I remember before doctor buffs and all that, during the first month of the game, as a zabrak armor sucked bad. Mainly I think because our regen rates naturally arent that great. Will the encumbrances be bad now though? I assume with doctors buffs its not bad at all, but was just curious. Im also have slicing IV, so ill be able to slice some of those encumbrances and what not off the armor.
