Thread: Good Swordsman Templates?

I'm focusing on making a PvE Swordsman template (that can also do some PvE). All I know so far is that I'm going to go up to Master Swordsman. The rest is undecided. For one thing, I've heard that Swordsman have bad defense. If so, should I get one of the defensive lines from either Fencer or TKA? If so, should I get it from TKA or Fencer? If I do get it from TKA, should I get up to Med 4 as well? However, one thing that I have a problem with is getting buffs in the off-hours. So I wanted to become a Master Doctor so I could buff myself and I could be decent at PvP. However, if I did this, then I could not get any of the of the defensive lines from either TKA or Fencer.
Since this is primarily a PvE template (most of my "pvp" is 1 v 1 duels), then which do you think would be better for me? Going master doc or getting the defensive lines from TKA or Fencer?

I am building my new toon for PVE as well and atm am going master brawler for the speed, 4440 fencer, 4002 TKA, and 1140 medic. Was going to master fencer but i decided after my trip to the Geo Cave last night that i needed stim D's ![]()

Master Swords/Master Doc. The swordsman defenses arent bad. CoB is a lifesaver.

Alright I'll just continue advancing through Swordsman and Medic for now while I look over it. Another reason I'm thinking about Master Doc is for my guild so we can have more buffers (only like 2 docs in guild right now).

I am going through the same ordeal... finding buffs is a drag unless you are in coronet.
People always master doc, but what kinda buffs are avaiable to a mid-level doc? Is it just the amount of time the buffs last or the efficacy of the actual stat boost?
Anyway my template so far has been:
Master Swordsman
Master Brawler
Fencer 4-0-0-0 (defense)
TK 4-3-0-4 (meditation and defense)
Medic 2-0-0-0 (stims and bleed healing)
Scout 3-0-0-0 (running is pretty important as pure melee)
