Thread: PvE Template: Solo and Group PvE Power

Alright, I have some questions and ideas on a all around PvE template, that is fairly versatile. I was looking at the following as a template:
Master Swordsman
Master Rifleman
4/0/0/0 Teras Kasi Artist
Medic (all the remaining points)
The bonuses are: Swordsmans tanking power, and blast damage. Rifleman is versatile with Strafe Shot 2 (Health Area Attack) and Head Shot 3 (Powerful Mind Shot) and has Acid damage. The Teras Kasi gives meditate, Powerboost and Force of Will (God forbid you ever get incapped).
However, I noticed the bonuses of Master Brawler, Intimidate 2 and Warcry 2, very helpful abilities indeed. However, Master Brawler sucks up skill points pretty fast. If I had Master Brawler in there it would become:
Master Brawler
Master Swordsman
Master Rifleman
My question is as follows: How important is Powerboost and Meditate compared to Intimidate 2 and Warcry 2? Should I go for damage reduction or healing? This template would be used for the Geonosian Caves (and at least an attempt to solo the Acklay) as wells as the Corvette and Nightsister Elders. Of course, there is little stuff like the Aaukuan Caves, Fort Tusken and the like. So, my question to you Lords of PvE, what do you think is the better choice? Is there another, better one? Please, O Exalted Masters of Uber Pwnage, lend me your wisdom!

i have master swordsmna/master brawler/tkm/exploration 3 and i can take 2 protectors at the same time, even if 1 has a stun baton. i dont have any stun armor. int 2 is nice because it lasts longer so you get more hits in before it wears off. since you're a master rifleman you'll plug away a lot of HAM before they get to you so you prob wont need it. as for elders just find a CM to hunt with you. i've seen a CM and master swordsman kill all on dath since the CM canheal mind

I'm working on the same template with the small exception that im also taking novice scout and exploration 1 for the terain negotiation and a bit of harvesting.
I guess its a matter of preferance, but for me, I would rather take the meditation line to get rid of wounds, poison and disease in the field than the the extra skills in master brawler. On the other hand if you typically hunt with a doc / medic around, you wouldnt really need the meditation / medic skills as much

I would say dont even bother with master brawler if your not gonan use melee professions for pvp. For pve you can own with tkm/master swords and just get the fencer dodge tree for defenses and your done.

IMO the best things u gain from master brawler as a swordsman are +5 Two-handed Spd, +5 Two-Handed-Accuracy,+5 Two-handed Melee Toughnessand a 20m ranged KD with Lunge2....Havin´ the choice only between those two templates i will take the first one....doing stuff soloafaik novic med. is a must have!

i ask u...do u realy need master-rifle? IMO there is no need for both doing mainly PvE....I droped M-Rifle few weeks ago for fencer and never missed it by now....I will change my template next days to M-Brawler/M-Swords/Fencer 0-4-4-0/TKA 4-3-0-4 and Medic 0-0-4-0...i love to play the game as a swordsman and so i switch my template to support it as good as afaik is possibile....Fencer for def-stats and extra melee-migration....TKA for mediation and def-stacking....Medic 0-0-4-0 for using stims "d"....

How would TKM, Master SWRD, and master medic be for both PvE and PvP? i'd have 4 SP left so couldn't do anything else.

drop medic and try to get master brawler, I just master brawler last night and it's rock. With war cry 2 and intimidate 2 and lunge 2, I own 6 NS Ranger, plus the speed on my PH is a lot faster. Hope this help
