I have a +6 AA > should I just destroy?

No it doesn't work, and no don't destroy it either. It may work at some point in the future though so it might be worth holding on to. Also say someoen has a +5 2 handed melee counter +4 weapons experimentation tape, they could use yours to pull out the weapons experimenatation. Also a lot of people do buy these even though they don't work.
