ARHG! As much as I love Rodians they are not the best choice for Swordsman...
What would be the best Species for Swordsman/Doc ?

i am a human and it works well for me, but i may say wookie for the char stats r higher and with the new armor they are not as easy as they were before

What's wrong with rodian? i was a swordsman for quite a while and i was absolute Pwnage.

im zabrak. i chose it in the beginning since i thought a dude with spikes on his head holding a sword would be badass. hehe well ive fulfilled that image.... and im happy since its the best species for pvp with equilibrium.
then again.... rodian has those awesome mods for swordsman.... interesting

The choice is DEFINATLY human. One simple reason: NO RESTRICTIONS ON STATS. Start your stats with 400 in all your mind and action stats and then 1000 in all three of your mind. Sure u have to get buffed b 4 u do anything, but u should be getting buffed anyway. So now u have 2600-3000 action/mind with decent secondaries, and you can get all your armor on without brandy, so when u do get out into a fight, u can take less food and you have no worries about specials. Usually I take 2 brandies and a arisa and my specials cost nothing. so let the area3 macro fly and watch them all drop.

I am a trandoshan and I havent had any problems. We get bonuses to melee def i think as well as some unarmed stuff so we are probably better suited for tka but swords arefun

Well since your a master doc as well as swordsman...rodian is your best bet =P.
You have +10 two handed accuracy for being rodian. Our mind stats arent as bad as others(trandoshans), the only thing that does suck is our super low secondaries for health. However, since you can buff yourself it doesnt matter.

what about wookies as swordsmen? they have high HAM stats and with the new armor, can't be bad right?

nothings wrong with rodians, just can't get Mind stats very high, mine are currently at 500/450/500

I'm Twi'lek and have similar loyalty to my species as you Mr Rodian

Twi's get decent Mind and Action stats which helps but no real inherent skillmods (Dance and music healing? pfff so stereotyped
) But after my TKM/Swordsgirl Stat migrate i can fight buffed or unbuffed (with Powerboost mostly) not all my Mind stats are maxed - just the Mind pool itself at 1000. My most notable victory in my eyes so far is 2 regular Kimogila at the same time, with me unarmoured, unbuffed. Powerboost wore off halfway thru the first one ^^ Suck that, dragonface
