can i get some info on what the best compents/resources are best to make a powerhammer with (for the best damage)

Ackley bones - that's about it

Also keep an eye out for Kammris Iron and Copper with as high Shock Resistance as possible, 950 or higher would be ideal, but resources like that are rare.

Hehe, I asked this question a few days ago and did alot of research. Acklay bones and those 2 resources are all you need for killer hammers. Let the hunt begin!

Acklay bones, yellow geo cubes and solidifying paste for geo re-cores, and looted geo re-cores(as long as they aren't the base ones.)

As far as looking into the resources themselves, its better to leave that to your WS. As they keep up on those anyway.

And kammris iron with SR over 950 isn't really that rare. Just had the second spawn of 1000 SR kammris spawn on Tempest. 950 SR copper, you're pretty much sticking to polysteel copper, and it normally has a pretty high SR.
