I am all PVE, and this is my question.
I was already set on going M.Swords, MBrawler, TKA 4/3/0/4, Fencer 0/4/4/0, and medic 2/0/3/0 (for stim c's and first aid). My question involves a simple switch, taking out the stim c's for 2/4/4/4 in fencer, and maxed out melee and almost maxed ranged defense.
I mostly hunt Nightsisters, and have found the first aid very useful. So I want to keep that. I was wondering if it would be more affective to just use stim b's and have maxed out melee/ranged defense. Or be able to use stim c's and be slightly below par on the defensive side.
Thanks
I know it's a slight difference, but it's what I am looking at right now and I need opinions on it.

Never mind... I need those 800+ heals to keep up with the damage from an elder. Also how do you see what weapon they will use before you attack them? An elder whipped out a stun baton and bam, all my mind pool gone
Other than that been having good success against them. I was using a scythe on one elder for like 10 minutes before I realized she was 100% resistent to kinetic
Better stick to the trusty 'ol power hammers

I'm interested in knowing how you, or anyone else feels about that template. That's exacltly what I'm planning, accept I'm leaning towards 0040 medic for med-use 40 stim-E's which allow me to heal for around 1500 or so. I learned that dodge won't work when wielding a two-handed weapon so I've been questioning my decision.
Right now I am TKM, Master Brawler, Master Swordsman, Pike 0030 (only cause I haven't finished dropping it yet), and medic 0040. I'm hesistant to drop TKM because I've had it ever since my first holo and I like it a lot. But I'm a little bored with it, and would like to pursuse Swordsman as my primary.
Any thoughts?

Well, I find first aid absolutely necessary. Especially when you are getting hit with 1k ticks.
Personally, I have more problems while fighting nightsisters with keeping up with damage dealth than I do with state defenses. I thought TKM MIGHT be good against everything but Elders, everythig else is has kinetic as a secondary protection in the 5%-25% range.
I also thought TKM might be good for laying down some state effects before switching to swords, haven't tested that out yet...have you?

Im M-Brawler/Swords/Fencer 0440/TKA 4304 and Medic 0040...Its just great fun...stims d realy worth it to get medic xx4x....since the bleeds were nerfed i have no needs for 2xxx in medic...i wouldn´t drop medic skillsto gain some more melee and/or ranged defense. afaik u benefit more from the medic-skills....

Hmm, 1k tick? I had some ns-hunting the last days and never had a bleed on me witch ticked higher than let say 300 or maybe 400...fighting protector, spellweavers and sentinals takes not that much time. i only use intimidate2 or wookiee roar(con intimidate1) while killing those....![]()
P.S. Last 4 Elders gimme 3 times damned creds and one crapy lance...![]()
