Im currently rifleman/MHS, but after patch 8 Im lost and need some ideas.

I was thinking MHS/Master Doc or MHS/master CM

But I get the feeling they don't care.

If you are Master Rifleman/Master Swordman now, it is probably because you wanted to be able to target mind with both professions. The fact that mind will probably be healable after patch 8 only strengthens that concept. Why attack mind, watch them heal it, then switch to a different weapon and start attacking a different pool, only to watch them heal that as well.

Me? I am sticking with MR/MHS because even if they can heal mind, the HAM costs for the healing will becoming from what? The mind pool. So that still gives us an advantage over other classes since we are attacking the same pool they are using to heal it. And I would rather start and finish attacking the same targeted pool. Seems to me the argument for MR/MHS is even stronger after the patch if mind becomes healable.

There are not enough skill points for Master Combat Medic and Master Swordsman. Becomea Carbineer. The counterattack stacking "nerf" wasn't nearly asbad as everyone expected.....

Perhaps i'm retarded, but cant you heal mind now anyway? I know when I'm in PVE, and my mind gets low, i just take a swig of blue milk, and bam, I'm 600 mind points healed..But like the previous poster said, their mind pool will be low anyway from healing...

it all depends on what they replace our target pool with. We know we are losing the mind pool, but they have not yet told us what we are gaining in return. I don't think they will just have us attack a non--attackable pool and let it go.
