yeah, so, hmmn, i can kill an engraged kimogila, but apparently not a stormtrooper

anyways, i was in Bestine, on my way to go find a spot for some energy SW about 2km where that huge flat stretch is, and there are the typical stormtroopers around Bestine. meanwhile my friend, in RL, was sitting there with me, he doesn't usually watch me play SWG unless i'm killing stuff, and I see 2 stormtroopers...a scout trooper and one of the ones that look like dark troopers that aren't dark colored.

so my friends like "C'mon, get em, you know you want to, doooo ittt!!!"

itake a look at the minimap and they con red as per usual -"... looks like instant death" - and there's only 2 of em here. so what the hell, let's do it.

JUST IN CASE i leave my swoop out close for a quick getaway if more stormies come around or perhaps a jedi, drink my brandy, and eat a ahrisa.

.... you probably know where this is going

so i examine the stormies one more time, more prone to blast damage, out comes the hammer. i run up to the big dumpy one, which has a blaster pistol, and say "you got a perty mouth" before i attack him, i always trash talk stormies.

i attack... mind hit 1, then 2, then head hit 3's ... i start knocking down his mind like i would anything else... dumpy scout trooper comes over as expected, and i'm thinking "alright killin some stormies"

well needless to say not more than 10 seconds into this battle half my health is just POOF gone, I think i was taking a drink of something. I was like "WHAT THE HELL!?"

so my friend goes "yeah looks like he pulled out his whacky stick"

I look over, and its no whacky stick, its a fuggin Stun Baton.

BLAM, half my action, time to run.... i heal myself once with a 600 power janta stimb, health and action are ok now... not great, but ok, i get to my swoop, mount, and BLAM, mind incapped. i have almost 1800 extra mind, with my buffs, and he takes me down in one shot.... stupid armor.

needless to say, i died shortly thereafter.i had to put up with my friend saying "dude, you got destroyed by a damn stormtrooper, what kind of rebel are you?"

The kicker is is that they can hit you with specials that do not go with the weapon they are using. I got knocked down by a Tusken Warlord, and he never equipped a melee weapon or used a special with the rifle that would knock me down.

Also, the stormies targetting the mind pool with a scout blaster is a nice trick too.

Yup, I got killed by a Dark Trooper way back in the day, when Jedi used to run around in full composite. Talk about a downer, 3 deaths and all your skills get reset, and I get killed by a damn Dark Trooper with a stun baton that hits for 1kdmg+, they're deadly with those things if you're not wearing stun armor.

i was making a harv run in corellia last night when i come across a spawn of swoopers. i have no armor on and they shoot me and take away a decent chunk of my health. i put on a chestplate and leggings and quicly disperse of them and then take my armor off. i alt+tab the game into the toolbar and check the trade forums and such. i was listening to music and had turned my ingame music off. after a couple of minutes, i pull the game up again and find that those stupid swoopers had spawned again and i had been tripple incap killed

i think thats alot worse than being killed by a stormie

hah, listen to this, i was at fort tusken and i approch a tusken commoner, then he uses unarmed hit 3 on me and i die, ( i wasnt wearing armor) im like, what the heck! how could a tusken commoner kill me?! and how can he use a unarmed attack?!

Ok.....I will admit this so you will feel better......... whenI first started SWG....sniff, sniff.......I got killed and sent to the clone chamber by.......sniff......... a bunch of JAWAS!!!!
