Hello iam new to the swardsman thing.. I have gotten Novice swards man and I got a power hammer... isnt really the best but I sliced 2 of them i think one is like 3.7 speed does like 470 or so dmg and the other is like 670 or something dmg 5.9 speed. I have a couple of questions... first how do you do the bleed? What skill causes the target to bleed? Is it ganteeed bleed as long as you hit them? Also does the ammount of bleed dmg depend on the Dmg on the weapon? Thx ahead for your responsances and sorry for the bad spelling : )

under finesse 1, you get mind wound 1, that is the bleed attack. it isnt so much based on weapon damage, it just depends on the damage you do with the attack, i have seen from 600 as a low bleed, and 2000 as a high bleed with mind wound 1.

i is a definate bleed just so long as you hit, wether it be a a counter attack or a dodge, or a direct hit. and if you didnt know already, the techniques gives you the head hit 2 and three.

Bleeds depend soley 100% on your weapons dmg, use a heavy axe to bleed a mob vs a powerhammer.

The powerhammer is the best weapon for doing bleed attacks. With a max damage of 600+ on a damage sliced power hammer no other two-handed weapon even comes close to how hard that thing can hit.

Why would you suggest a heavy axe aynn? It has around the same speed (5-6) as a power hammer, but the damage is much worse (HA 54-96 PH 174-604). Also, I think that the weapon you get the cert for at novice swordsman wound be better than the one you get at novice brawler.

Mind Hit 1 and 2 are two of the most useful moves that swordsmen have, and I have personally gotten 2k+ bleeds with my powerhammer.

one thing that may change is the usefullness of our bleed attacks because of the changes to the damage over time attacks. it will take the target down to one point in the bled/poisoned pool, and they wont die, or get incaped. which is the saving face of such an attack. the bleed has saved me from getting death blowed many, many times. but if they dont bleed to death, the deathblow comes from the thing and you die.

I was suggesting heavy axe (low dmg) vs powerhammer bleeds to show the difference because bleeds depend on weapon min-max dmgs.
