Thread: power hammer damage vs. bases going to be fixed?
I personally have decided to stop fighting altogether because of it.
I'm sorry, I'll explain for you.
This apparant "bug" will mean that we will have to carry around a cleaver aswell (because i'm not willing, personally, to waste my 2hCurved Swords condition on base or a nest, they already run out fast enough as it is), costing me more time and money.
But once again, i'm sorry Toxotes, i'm sure you'd rather that no one bother replying to your question at all.
Give the guy a break.
Just because you're too busy moping around because of the imminent decay rates doesn't mean flame a guy because you respond with an answer that does NOT answer his question.
HIs question in a nutshell "Hey .. Powerhammers are supposed to be turrent killers .. why would they do half damage against a cannon-fodder base"
Your answer in a nutshell "Well .. to answer your question, I'm not going to carry weapons anymore because decay rates are going to kill my weapons"
So let me ask you this .. Why did you post?
I predict your answer will be "Because mushrooms are yummy, I eat them with steak and twizzlers"
My response to his question .. Yeah it is an inconsistency .. but I know that the devs initially increased the pain to kill a lair so people wouldn't 1-shot 'em and run away with a roaming herd left in the wake. They want us to work for the money .. and that includes killin' the nasties around a lair.
I have had to deal with this bug for a while. When I attack lairs I use my 2 handed curved sword instead of my powerhammer.
There is also a bug with AP in general. For some reason I tend to do more damage to enemies that haveresists to my damage type then something with no resists. Shouldn't this be the other way around?
Sorry, i've gotta remind myself not to post when i'm in a shiddy mood. His whole "kthx bye" attitude got to me I guess.

I thought my statement was in agreement with the original question. Guess it didn't come across that way.
Apologies
