Thread: How to attack?
I'm a 0/2/1/1 Swordsman and I have some questions:
What tree should I shoot up first?
Also, let's say I was going to attack a Piket, how would YOU attack it with my skills? I let my rock beetle tank, Mind hit 1 - then Head hit 2 till it's dead. Should I be using my Berserk or Intimidate or anything?

Go up the techniques tree first. Head hit 3 is a good move and the +30 speed helps a lot. When fighting, I would suggest using intimidate, warcry, mind hit 1, then attack with head hit 2 until it dies. Also try to keep at the maximum range (~5m) so that your pet can keep the aggro easier.
I wouldn't suggest using berserk because you would not be able to use your special attacks to target the creature's mind, so your damage would be spread out over all 3 pools and it would take longer to kill it. At higher levels berserk isn't that good anyway since it was nerfed to only +75 damage.
My opinion at 0211:
Send in the beetle.
Switch to Power Hammer (DMG sliced) and lay bleed until you get one over 1500pts.
Switch to 2H cleaver (dmg sliced)
Stick intimidate and make sure it is always up (Warcry if you want)
Use only Head Hits until it is dead

a kinda cool thing about higher level pikets is that Longhorn Females will not assist regular Piket Longhorns. So you can limit your aggro add exposure by taking out the regular Piket Longhorns first.
