i just wana know how do you beat tka's i mean the only thing thati head so far war cray/mind bleed and swing at him ok thats a lame stategy tka can kd/dizzy= almost 2x the normal dmg that they do (900th master tka unarmed hit 3) plus after they kill you they can meditat wich kills off bleed and if they have any med skills they can first aid them selfs now even if you have master Brawler rember tkas can get up faster then you can probably you will land only one hit on them.

war cry works both whys theres a 50/50 odds that you get the 1st warcray on your enemy plus rember tka can also use armor so even if you have 80% ken armor your opponent might have one too

CoB i looked at cob of swordsman vs tkas and guess what tka center of bing wins its much better

i just made this topic becuse i saw alot of sowrdsman talking about owning tks altho im not a master sm yet (was a master tka ) i cant understand how can you kill tka

if you use a power hammer you do about as much dmg as a tkm but 1) its slower 2)we all know tks will go for that magical unarmed knockdown2 (dizzy+kd) so that means the dmg is almost 2x its original value (when you use a power hammer its slower then the tka attack but the dmg is about the same)

the only thing i can say what sowrdsman have that tkas dont is a "med a.p."

so can anyone plez tell me how can you beat a tka??

(sorry didnt spend much time on spell checking)

First. TKA CoB is still broken (Points at sig) I know this. I've done both and Swordie's is much more effective.

Second, you have a dizzy KD. Well I do, you apparently just don't know much about this profession.

And do NOT compare combat spam damage. If you do, make sure to reduce the TKA's by half as they have no armor piercing. And add +25% to the swordie's damage . I'm really tired of seeing all these posts though. If you keep yelling to 'nerf' other proffessions then you're just going to yours 'nerfed'.

I personally have killed blademasters, TKM's, Master BH's, and even a smuggler. You just have to know what works well with your profession.

The TKA is using strategy, so should you. He probably also has fencer or pistol KD defense to complement the TKA's strengths.

PvP is about how you build your character. A two year old can beat you if you're only a master swordie and he's a TKM/fencer/doctor. Build your character right and you win. Wrong and you lose.

i don't think he was crying nerf or anyting just asking a question that i cannot answer lol! but i do agree with parts of both of your posts. and one last thing. When you hit master, does speed even matter on a weapon? Or will everything be the same speed?

right now i think that the main difference is that bleeds go through secondary defenses, whereas the dizzy/kd doesn't. So if the swordsman is centered then he is less likely to be knocked down, but his bleeds will go through whether the other person is centered or not.

if i'm dueling a tkm .. its always warcry, get the bleeds off with the powerhammer .. then intimidate a couple times to make sure it sticks and switched to the 2h curved and just start spamming head hit 3 ... seems to work well so far like the guy said before .. all strategy

Once damage mitigation goes to unarmed damage TKs will be way worse off.

I beat a Master TKA/Master Doc today in a duel. It was tough and I had serious mind wounds, but I was victorious. It took some carbine specials too.

Strategy is important. Sometimes u win... sometimes u lose.

the fact is a swordman will NEVER beat tkm without warcry, if you duel with "warcry=off" rules, u always loose to a tkm, its impossible against a dabbling tkm

unless the tk has like 400 mind, but its usually 1500+ with powerboost

im a former tkm, now "4,3,0,4 tka, master swordie, 4,4,2,0 fencer, 0,0,4,0 pikeman andmaster brawler"

thats pure dabbler power

ihave 171 melee defense before using any be clothin or armor and use cob with swordman and still its the 210accuracy of tka andnearly zeroreduction of mitigation to tka dm that always goes on top of us.

ican just bout beat a non dabbler tkm without wacry withheadhit3spam and maybe few lunges but a dabbler tkm is basically impossible, and again i say, without warcry.

and i use a 3.2 speed 350dm cleaver (35%dm slice+ pu) and i doubt many of you have a better pvp sword than that. curved=sucks vs mitigation3, hammer=too slow

after many duels i can only say swordman sucks since warcrying feels kinda like a **edit** style of fighting, since u just make your opponent unable to do anything

but im not disappointed since my char is not for duels, its against high end pve and it roaks, tkm sucks

well tkm seem to be one trick ponies actually ...... put on some descent armour and look at em do like 20 damage. And offcourse we have to use warcry and allbut duelling a tkm with warcry=off rules thats like telling them not to kd or dizzy .......... not gonna happen and if it does tkm is toast

I use about the best template for pvp swordsman that there is...well it works really well for me i will say. Right now i am a masterswordsman. Master brawler, Fence 4-4-0-0, and carbineer 0-0-4-0 with pharm 4 medic. I have a counterattack of 228 ( alot of it is clothing armor attachments that i put into ubese shirts/bandoleer and a mabrari belt) that basically mean that i get hit about 30 % of the time. ON top of that...i have a melee defense of 132 and ranged of 110. a knockdown defense of 82 and some dodge with damage migration 2. Honestly i cant tell you exactly how much i get hit but its really not much at all.

Master TK are great...if they knock me down which almost never happens. If they dont, its over unless they jump on a speeder. Master brawler really is a must for a pvp swordsman. You get 2 hand lunge which has a high chance of a knockdown. Then warcry2 is sucha jump from one and its great for that delay in pvp. I use lunge2/warcry2/mindhit2/ then i spm headhit3. if they make a run for it i pull out the carbine

For the weapons....i never use a powerhammer especially against a TK. Why would you ever use one when the 2h curved is sooo fast. Right now i use a 2h curved Sword with a base or 260 damage, a 35%damageslice and a 15% damage powerup. That bringa a grand total of 405 damage with a powerup and 2.5 speed. Cleavers dont have what it takes....at least not for me. the best cleaver i have ever seen damage wise has 379 damage at 3.4. thats not gonna cut it usually. When they run use a sweet carbine and take them down.....krayt is weak with damage migration i use an elite with a damage powerup.

I guess thats it......i will beat a master TK 9 out of 10 time using that. If ya dont believe me....i will take on any master TK...spam unarmed hit 3 all you want...not going to do any good if you cant touch me.

Cleavers I've seen have higher base damage than curved swords. 20% damage slice on mine brought it to 276 max.

Honestly, don't you people use composite armor? Armor is where you will see the mighty TKM's strength and speed dwindle. With my 80% base composite armor on a tkm does like 10 damage with spitting rawl (UAH3). So what if they kd\dizzy me? Wow now they are doing 20 damage to me....just keep trying to stand and you after about 3 tries your character will stand up (still dizzy), then apply 2 bleeds, and head 3. Its funny to watch as the bandwagon jumping tkm gets up after his incap all confused and befudled thinking "TK's suppose to be the best, how did lose?" Tkm is only good against unarmored things........if you dont wear armor your toast. Its called balance? Just my thoughts......oh and I haven't lost to a tkm yet w/ my armor.
