Melee isn't like Ranged. There really is no "best" weapon. In swordie some prefer the sheer speed of the curved sword. Though its low minimum damage is a con, and will render your damage extremely low in PvP.

Some prefer the massive damage of the powerhammer. But its slow speed makes its DPS about like the curved. And once again its low minimum damage is a liablity, especially in PVP.

Others, like me, take the middle ground with the cleaver. Its max damage is generally not much higher than the curved and it is noticeably slower, although still much faster than the hammer. But its high minimum damage makes for mainly of its failings with the ability to deal out consitantly high damage and not be extremely adversly affected in PvP.

Curved sword is always valuable for its acuaracy mods. A swordsman isnt reall efficient with a hammer untill you are like 2222. Even then a curved sword is the best to use untill master, then the hammer owns.

Hey guys.. just wanted some help with weapons.I generaly use ranged weapons.. dabbling in different professions.. but ive recently discovered how good brawlers can be from my Master Fencer holocron and i'd like to try the rest of them.

What are the best weapons to use for two-handed and polearm from novice Brawler up to Master Swordsman and Pikeman?
And what should i be hunting?
