if you like to get buffed all the time, go up offense, but if you like to travel without them, go up defense.

Speed, that is your best asset. *blanking on friggin tree line right now* Go up the tree with the speed mods, get yourself a nice damage sliced power hammer around 5.3-6.0 seconds and CenterOfBeing and Berserk a whole lot...

Finesse is accuracy and gives you the bleeds, but branchusesCombat XP, so get as much Finesse as you can as quickly as you can, but generally, like most branchesthat use Combat XP, you will be getting that line as you go up the other three trees. Keep in mind, too, that Sword bleeds stack, not only with each other, but also with Rifle bleeds.

Techniques is the speed line, and most people I have heard say go Techniques first, and I would agree.

Then either Defense or Offense.Defense means youtake less damage, but Offense gives youthe better area attacks.Ittherefore becomes a matter of taste, I think. If you are buffed, as was said earlier, you can go up Offense; otherwise, you probably want to hit Defense first. I did the latter.

Techniques without a doubt. Get that speed right away.

I am 30k swords from novice (fell asleep before getting it) which should take me 15 minutes to get.

The greatest thing is I have 300,000 combat xp saved up and can get 3 of the combat boxes at the same time as novice. woot 2 bleeds to start with.
