like in diablo 2 axes or 2 broad swords is awesome
or in EQOA or EQ even in EQOA i havea lvl 25 warrior barb i have 2 short swords of song each adds like 15 to my str and like 10 to dex and they add some AC too fast attack speed good dmg

let us use like 2 swordsman maby 2 rantoks that would be awesome and let tkas use 2 VK's slow them down a bit lol

I do not disagree that it would be a nice option, but when you think about it, it does not really mesh with our profession. We are 2 handed weapons specialists because we use two hands to wield big, heavy weapons. Double sword weapon techniques use two hands, yes, but the techniques are based on light weapons and speed. Two completely different skills. It would actually make more sense for double weapons to be under fencer, not us.

even if it would be neat, swg at least like to hold as close as possible to the laws of physics as possible, or explain how something impossible would otherwise be possible (the force). Wielding two large swords effectively would be impossible. For fencers maybe it would make sense.

As far as game mechanics go, it would litteraly throw the whole system off wack, and be completely destroy the fragile balance the game currently has. Such as two handed weapons like rifles and pikes only being able to attack once for x damage, where as you can attack twice for x damage in the same time.

yeah, other tehn the french for spanish in duels, only short single handed swords were used.... this is a fencer skill, the idea of twin 2 handed swords, is physically impossable, and in battle ediqute inaccurate

If we were able to wield two swords at once, we woulden't be heavy swordsmen, but fencers. A weapon you can use one hand to swing, is a one handed weapon, I.E not our type, because we use 2 handed. As simple as that.

Thats what I would have said if the devs or whatever would pull their heads out of the internet porn and realize that you cannot wield a 2-handed sword with one hand, more the less two 2-handed swords at once.

No, I don't think it would be nice. I suspect undertones of wanting to be 'uber' here.

I'm a heavy swordsman because I want the big swords with the big hits. If I want to dance around with 2 fast swords then I'll consider fencing. Even then though, it's a little ridiculous.
