What's the difference between using the sweep that we get from brawler and the Defense tree and the area attacks that we get from the Offense tree? And which is better to use, if I should even bother?

I've wondered the same... we have so many redundant attacks it seems. Odd!

I posted this a while ago, but I still haven't gotten a viable answer. Does ANYBODY know?

sweeps suck.

don't use them haha.

they have a lower spd cap and less dmg - so that might help in some instance.

but they do the same thing.

area 3 is the best and does the same thing as area2 area 1 sweep 1 and sweep 2 except it has a chance to posture down and the highest dmg mod.

there isn't any reason to use the sweeps at master.

Is it just me or does area 3 dizzy instead of blinding? Although i'm not necessarily upset about this. If only it stuck the 2 states more often...

The description for Area3 says it has a chance to blind, but Area3 (and Hit3, btw) has a chance to dizzy, not blind.

Well, then I'd say it depends on KD/Dizzy. use your KD, then your Dizzy spin moves in combination and you're set. Now for creatures, it's probably Spin Attack 2.
