Swordsman Archive

I'm not a master yet 0/4/3/3, but I ran through my combat log after realizing we get +110 to counterattack at Master. I was curious to see how many attacks I was countering at my level and found that I hardly ever counterattacked. What's the deal with this? Is it broken? Also, anyone know how well CoB works for us swordsmen? I know for Fencer's its what makes them awesome, but does it do us Swordsmen any good? Thankya.
