Thread: Scythe, is it worth it?

I am currently 0-4-1-3 Swordsman and am really enjoying the profession. I have found that I rarely use my PH because of speed, unless I need Blast damage. I have (2) great Curved Swords that work great. A friend of mine is says that he used a Scythe when he was Swordsman and that it was much better. What is everyone's opinion? Should I get one made/spend the credits?

i like em personally...but they degrade or seem to very fast.
you either need to farm for cubes and solidyfying(spelling) agent and get schems yourself or be prepared to pay substantial money.
the devs really messed us with 2 schems only and each schem limited to number of actual scythes

I never really used my Scythe until last night against Nightsisters. I love my Scythe. Great damage with fast speed. If your opponent has the same blast and kinetic damage go with the Scythe since its faster and more accurate. I would only pull out the hammer if you had to conserve HAM.

I bought one recently and I am loathe to use it unless the situation demands it.(as in my survival requires more speed/accuracy) The thing is wearing out quickly and I way overpaid for it.
Its a beautiful and effective weapon, just a luxury I can barely afford at this time...

Its the next thing better than the PH in terms of power and it has better accuracy. Good for pvp or when the cleaver just isn't doing the job foryou.
If you're on ChilastraI (Vopik Olitody) make scythes at:
5k -All components provided by you and using your schems.
25k -IfIyou want crafted cores using my schems. You provide the components.
125k - Using my scythe shem. You provide the components.
250k - Using my scythe shcem, core schem, and my components. (Time delay for gathering the components).
