Thread: Question on counterattack attachment

Hey guys,
I was just wondering if an armor attachments says +14 to counterattack does it work? Doesn't say 2 handed or anything, just counterattack. Someone told me it's no good. Just wanted to check and see if it's true.

Yea those work. THe ones that say two handed counterattack, dont work.

Counterattack mods work, and that mod is worth a nice chunk of change. A +13 just went for 5.4 mill on my server. Mods such as 2H counterattack, 1H evasion, 2h evasion, etc don't work.
A simple way to tell whether or not a mod will work in general is to look at the skill trees and see if that mod is listed anywhere in the skill trees. There is no mod in the game called "2h counterattacks", or "1h evasion", or "2h damage", thus any mods to those skills are like modifying nothing, the net outcome is nothing thus the benefit of said mods is nothing. Meanwhile counterattack is a valid mod and is used by both swordsman and carbineers. The person who told you it was worthless was confused.
