Thread: Oversight Swordsman Issue

Im sure this issue will effect other classes, but it has been messing with me a lot with swordsman. As many of you know it patch 9.1 they introduced that DOTs break warcy. This was done in order to stop people applying Fire/Desease/Poison and using warcy. The problem is this also effects bleeds, so if you use your bleeds you can't use warcy any more. Ok on to the issue ... HeadHit III sometimes leaves a 1 point bleed, not one you intended to put on, it just appears. When this 1 point bleed comes on your warcy is now worthless. Im not sure if this is intended to work this way, but it is not a good change IMO.

Um actually I think all off our moves havea chance to aply a bleed. Regardless of weapon, I have always run the chance of bleeding someting, even if it is an almost miniscule bleed, like spin 2 on occasion a few of the NPCs I am killing will be bleeding by the timeI go to finish them off, all I used was spin2, same if I only spam area3 or headhit3 or two handed 3....all my moves I stand the chance of bleeding them...so yeah this sucks.

Honestly, who needs warcry.....since they changed it to where any attack will break it (and now the bleeds too).....it's useless in my opinion. I'm a master brawler/master swordsman and the delay for warcy is a waste for me because when buffed and using the right strategies, nothing can damageme enough to worry about having to delay anything with the exception of SBD's and higher level mobs like that...but then it doesn't work on them and your in a group anyway and thus warcry still has no major benefit.


Warcry = Waste of time and slot that can be used for a better special..


Now intimidation2 is lovely.....it's nice to cut a mobs attack nearly by half while I chop'em on the head with my hammer (or scythe) until they die from brain damage!

warcry is only good if you have medic since you can basically pause them for a round or 2 and heal up.

Yeah but anything that warcry will easily effect is not strong enough to do enough damage to you so that you would need to heal....unless of course your fighting unbuffed.....then that's a whole other story....but really who fights unbuffed besides roleplayers and people with lent in their pockets. Basically unless you are one of the two I mentioned...you have no business needing to warcry a mob just so you can heal. Armor, Buffs, Chef food, TKM basically put the need for medic on the back burner....the only thing medic is good for with a combat profession that don't have TK meditate line is healing wounds. Anything less than master medic when fighting high level mobs is a waste because if the mob is doing that much damage where you need 10-20 seconds to heal.....warcry and heal won't save you.......so again a total waste now that the devs have nerfed warcry.

I use it when fighting high end stuff like elders solo. I don't have any medic right now, so if my health starts getting low I use warcry a few times till I am at full health again, and it works great. Warcry 2 lasts for 20 seconds I think with a 30 second timer, so if your getting beat up you can make it so your not getting attacked for 40 seconds out of every minute, its actually quite nice.
