I was wondering what a reasonible speed is for a good power hammer. Should it be in the 2's, 3's or 4's. And how much do you think i should pay for one

If you get one in the 2's or 3's plz send me a gmail and don't tell anyone else. In the meantime, anything under 5.6 is decent. Craft day stuff can be found down to 5.2.

My perfectly speed sliced patch day 5.1 145-483dmg hammer is now 3.3spd. That's the fastest I've heard of.

I've gotten a couple of 4.0's with good damage. Diffently, if you get anything in the 3's buy it asap b/c that's a good rare find indeed.

I have a few PH's that range from 4.1-5.6 speed. Saw one the other day that was 3.6 speed and was gonna get it till I realized they wanted like 500k for it, which to me seems a little outrageous since the typical PH is only in the 5-20k range. Throw a powerup on a low 4 speed PH and you can get it pretty low.

Acklay hammers are on avg 5.9 on intrepid. mine was 728 max 5.9 speed....until today....now it is 615 max

I have 3 hammers i use. a 3.0 speed with 467 max damage. A 3.3 speed with 483 Damage and a 5.3 speed with 723 MAx damage. Though it took me a while and crates of top of the linehammers to get these.
