Hi swordsman
I'm a master carbineer/master BH.. I was planning to change from ranged to melee fora defense. Been Bh since beginning of game, and want a change.
For my template i was thinking of keeping carbineer for the counterattack to stack with swordsman, and dabble in fencer and tk of melee and ranged defense.
Carbineer counterattack 105 plus 110 for swordsman gives 215, is this overkill??
My friend trying to convince me to change to pistoller as it has better defense mods. But i had the idea dodge doesn't work holding a sword.
Any input would be appreciated.

I tried it, but I found myself using the hammer 99% of the time. Carbineers have their problems right now, and it really doesn't help much unless you couple it with BH for the speed and accuracy. Stacking counterattack is not very helpful either, cause it caps at 125. You can use the carbine to stop fleeing / kitingenemies, it has quite a few of awesome specials for kd and posture down, but you need speed tapes and speed sliced carbines to use that efficiently. But that's about it with carbines, with current armor stats you can't use it for damage, just to buy enought time to move in closer then switch to swordsman.
