Im starting out in the brawler profession, and im having a hard time choosing what combat prof i want to be. Ive narrowed it down to Pikeman and Swordsman, but i cant decide which. Im looking to do damage more than anything else, as opposed to speed or stuff like that. Can you tell me why Swordsman would be the way to go? Any help or opinions would be appreciated.

i think swordsman is the way to go. pikeman is very unaccurate and you need very good speed attachments to be able to do some real dmg. sworsdman fun and does tons of dmg in pve.

3 best weapons for swordsman, powerhammer, scythe, and 2 handed curved sword. Although I haven't used the 2h sword since the scythe came out. We can deal out devestating damage... In pve anyway.

Yes Swordsman is the best prof for pure PvE fun. It can also become lethal in PvP. I have solo'ed everything in game so far but a Krayt (havent even tried lol). Had a Gorax solo'ed then about 20 people walked up and jumped him....grrrr them lol.

Swordsman can do the most damage I've ever done. Speed can be a little slow but usually nice scythes or speed slices can fix most of that. Blast damage is very nice on Kinetic-resistant mobs.

swordsman is the best prof for pve at the moment. ive solod everything big in the game acklay, krayts, elders you name it ive killed it.just make sure you go up the tech tree 1st to get the speed cause that power hammer is slow =)

As a Master Swordsman I'm not affaid of anything. 2 Protectors, 3 Spellweavers and 3 Rangers jump you? Big deal. I used to be affraid to go to Dath. I remember it well......20k HAM? RUN! Now I don't bother unless it's at least 24k+. I've killed everyting except Dark Jedi Masters. And that's only because Ican never find themor there arealready 30 people wailing on one inside the Mining Outpost.
