When you guys first got novice swordsman, what did you guys hunt or grind to level quickly?

Also, whats up with the mindhit 1, it does like 100 DOT damage as a bleed.. Pretty useless or am I using it wrong?

ok u just hit novice swordsman
dont worry about any skills except area 1 or two hand hit 1 for the time being just go to squill cave and slay alot of squills
in about a week youll be a master swordsman if u hunt non stop
dont worry about any mind hit skills until u hit master swordsman ans start pvp use head hit 3 for pvp with a high quality scythe

get a speed slice power hammer to grind a lil faster and get the area attack to level up faster.if you want to make money while leveling just go to dant and kill some huurton's
