Greetings fellow Swordsmen!
I'd like to take a moment to share a little about myself with you. First, my real name is Marc, and im a college student in Ohio studying information systems and writing. I am a Seinfeld and Simpsons fan, as well as anything that amuses me. SWG is my first MMO, and I still love it. As you can see I am a 'Day one vet', and have not really taken any time off from the game.
I have been a swordsman forever. I have a nice suit with lots of accuracy, defence and counterattack mods. I am active in both PvE and PvP. My self proclaimed title of Master of Awesome comes from the power that swordsman brings.
SOE brought me on to get information from you and pass it on to them. That is what I plan to do. I am not a yes-man nor a no-man for them. I do have my opinions, but will try to convey what I get from the community. I am excited to work with you all. The more you help me, the more you help yourselfs.
My thoughts on the CU? Well in truth im just as nervous as all of you. I think it is needed and that we should all hold judgement till the final product. As I have said before, its somewhat fun to be able to solo everything as is possible now. But in an MMO it should be more fun to take on a challenge with a team of friends.
Finally, I'd like to thank StGabriel and Gorecki for the time they spent at this post. They will be hanging around still lending a hand as needed. From my talks with Gabe, his retirement had nothing to do with the CU, so you can put that to bed right now.
Here's to a good 6 months (maybe more),
Chilastra- Cos KreyMerr
TC-Prime- Dorvo, Kreymerr, Aeiou
TC-Ep3-CU- Cos Chilastra

Ive been pretty quiet in these forums. But I have been a Master Swordsman for well over a year now. And I to am leary of the changes coming. But then again part of me is looking forward to it. If you are going to be setting up a swordsman guild on the Test Center server like a lot of the other corspondents have. Id love to be a apart of that and help out anyway that I can.///

Thanks for the introduction, and congrats on the position.
As my representative and only voice I ask this of you please.
Post regularly in threads you start and please give us feedback regarding what you are taking to the devs, dont just read the input and then keep the agenda to yourself, keep us constantly in the loop.
We need our voice to be an active one, that recipricates rather than just absorbs our input. Cloak and dagger politically correct posts that reveal as little as possible hurt the community and the profession - please keep it real and honest, we are your fellow players.
Thanks for your commitment

I plan to post often. But with my new position comes new responsibility. For one, some things may be covered by an NDA. Also with my new title I think people will tend to take my words as a final answer. Because of this, I cant post in every thread on the forum. I will try to answer things directed towards me and update my own threads. I will read every new post, just because I havnt replied doesnt mean I havnt seen it.

Of course you cant respond to every post - I only ask you keep your own threads very regular.
I understand NDA and wouldn't ask you to break it, but you can keep a running log of the ideas you intend to take to the devs from the community, this way people know they have been heard and will have confidence that you are representing them well.
I'm glad we have someone like you to represent us, but be bold and brave, after all, we are swordsmen not politicians.
