Thread: 2 handed curved sword Vs. Battle hammer...

This may seem noobish to you but I don't know if I should swicth to battle hammer or not. right now my swordsman template is 0/1/1/1,and when I use the battle hammer its very slow and very inaccurate. Should I just stick with the Battle hammer anyway? Does it ever get more accurate?

use the 2 hand curved sword till your all the way up the speed tree, then switch to the ph. dont worry about any other tree untill you get all of the speed one. then you can go up whichever you like.

yes, use the 2h curved sword untill you get the certif. for a sythe. it may cost you a little bit, but you will notice how much faster you will be grinding up, instead of you useing a ph, or the 2h sword

I grinded sword (a long long time ago) this way:

Piket missions... I killed thousands it seems.

Did speed first, then accuracy. I used my curved sword until I got my scythe. Then went to the hammer after getting some more speed (mastering brawler, getting FS speed, etc).

Under the new CU system, the hammer is the best weapon, hands down. More damage per second than anything.

Which is stupid. I am a SWORDSMAN, why do I have and even USE a hammer?!

I usea 2h curved sword that does 375 damage 2.2 speed....I swing it more than twicethe speed of a hammer....It depends on if you are switching skills or starting as a noob swordsman. I went up the defense tree first...allowed me to keep my damage mitigation from another skill tree. Still after a 3 hour buff session and 500xp later my BF was at 650..wow. Now I'm going up the speed tree...I prefer the 2H Curved for most uses.....I have a scythe schem just waiting for some good materials....
