Lately I have been doing Mercenary missions on Lok. Most of thetime it's with a friend of mine who is a Bounty Hunter, but other times we have had at least 5 others in the group.We usually usepets, andpulleach mercenary one by one from the camp so they don't all attack at once. Once the pets have their attentiontheyattack withrangedweaponsand me with my TwoHanded Curved Sword. After about a minute of fighting I look up, and see all my HAM are reletively fine, but then all of a sudden if I start gettinghit, my mind is gone in seconds and I'm incapped! Eventhe guys in mygroup couldn't believe how fast it happens. It doesn't only happen with Mercs either, it's pretty much fighting anything. I could understand if I was healing while I was fighting, but I never do unless my health or action are at critical. The one thing I do do is use a lot of special attacks in battle, mostly MindHit2 and 2HandHit2, but I watch how much it takes off when I use them, and it's never that much. When I see others getting attacked in the group, their mind never gets hit as hard are mine. Just tonight we were fighting 2 mercenaries, and with what seemed like one shot I was incapped with 390 wounds in willpower! This is getting very frustrating, and I'm wondering if maybe I'm doing something wrong, or maybeonce I get more levels in Swordsman it will be better. Right now I am 1/1/1/1 in Swordsman, and the only armor I use is a set of Composite Leggings that have been sliced to32/99/15 encumberance. My mind values are 700/400/400 and my race is a Trandoshan. Any help or advice anyone can give me, I will really appreciate. Thanks in advance.

You are getting hit by special attacks. Most of the nonanimal NPCs that you fight (like the pirates on Lok) get many of the special moves that players can get. The pirates are high level, andhave some of the rifleman moves like mindshot2 and headshot3 available to them they occasionally use on players. Do you wear any kind of helmet? Even abone armor helmet will help prevent taking massive damagewhen you are getting attacked at range.

I got slain on Lok yesterday in one hit by a elite merc... and im a MASTER SWORDSMAN.

Me and my friend were coming back from a mission. AMercwent aggro on my friend and started following us. As soon as we were far enough from the camp i told him "lets get him" He sends in his pet and I letthem go at it (he is a pikeman and needs the xp) I was just observing and healed my friend twice. Ok pirate is almost dead, ill finish him off. I swing, get hit for 200 health, I swing, THEN I GOT HIT FOR 1322!!! ACTION! I didn't even incap, i was just SLAIN before i hit the ground. I was incapped only one time before that... so i didn't die from the 3 incaps in 10 minute rule. Just wanted to share the joys of being a swordsman
