Do the defensive modifiers for a Swordsman crossover if he has a weapon and vise versa. If Im a master TKA and Swordsman are the bonuses of both classes active at all times? I was under the impression if Im a TKA master and pick up a sword I lose my unarmed bonuses?

Only the toughness don't stack. The rest do. I am a TKA but my rifle def bonus stack together. You can hit Control S and look at your melee defensive bonus and see that they add up.

i am working towards a simmilar goal, master swordsman, master brawler, and master TKA, i was hoping the defenses stacked... so its all good.

it will take about 203 skill points in order to master all three, and that means extra skill points, which leaves me to either take a basic profession and get two skill trees in it, or take up fencer or pikeman, learn a slight bit more than half, and take the defense mods from that skill...
