Thread: Does armor mitigation stack?

I'm TKM and novice+ swordsman and I'm also going for pikeman or fencer. I wonder if the armor mitigation I get from swordsman and fencer/pikeman stack? I.e I get 40% from each profession, will that result in 80% mitigation or will it stay at 40%.
As TKA I've inate armor that is really good, just checking if I'll be able to find a better (than inate) crafted armor out there that I can mitigate enough.
Maybe stupid question, but if you don't ask you don't learn
