it wont, commando is a support or add on class for ranged, unless u wanna just get the nades, u would be switchin up ur armor and weapons to much to be effective

Actually it works quite well. First, everyone assumes you can't mix melee and ranged, this has never been true, and the best defense comes from the mix. as a MS Mcomando I have sweet defenses, get to wear asault armor (trust me, you need it) and have no penalties using my specials and hammer in asault armor. While commando is an add for ranged, I've only ever used my second class for defense boosting anyway. I like it.

Helps that I'm married to a MCM.

I tried this combo and didn't like it because 1. commando has NO SPECIALS! and 2. The only benefit is wearing assult armor.
