Thread: Question Regarding TK Innate Armor & Swordsman

Please excuse my nOOBishness but I have had no time to concentrate on testing out any of the new skillz at all.
I guess I'm wondering if the TK innate armor works while holding a sword if your TKM / Master Swordsman (I do believe armor cannot be worn to receive the TK innate armor bonus as well)
Additionally, I've been looking around at armor and it seems that encumberance now works in the opposite way and that armor can actually add to your health pool and speed up your movements? So maybe my question is worhtless anyway and I should just get a nice set of armor?

You're right with all your suspicions.
TK innate armour works as long as you wear no other armour.
From testing innate armour is about equal to an armour factor of 6000.
Armour can be crafted with a factor of over 6000 and it can also have the benefits you describe.
With another stroke of lack of foresight the designers, with the aim of making armoured and unarmoured equally viable, have come up with a design where it is better for everyone (including TKMs) to wear armour.

However, if TKM/Master Sword, and using Innate Armor, you have no hindrance (as with armor) and throw a COB in there, and you're good, add food, even better.. etc etc

and u can throw in doc 4xxx tree and u are a tanking m0f0!
