Hello all,

I'm sorry if this question has been asked already, but i couldn't find any specific information and decided to ask the specialists

What is the advantage of having adv. armorbreak? Is it duration ? Do we break armor more thoroughly ?

If someone has any info on this and is able to enlighten me, it would be very appreciated ...

Supposedly, yes. Last I knew for sure, Improved/Advanced Armorbreak was in fact LESS potent than the basic brawler-level Armorbreak though. I think I heard this has been fixed.. or at least will be soon. Being too lazy to test things myself, I can tell you that Advanced Armorbreak DOES reduce armor to some extent, and is thus worth using.. even if it doesn't work as advertised.

The stats on those specials used to be:

Armor Break: reduces armor to 45% for 10 secs.

Imp. Armor Break: reduces armor to 55% for 20 secs.

Adv. Armor Break: reduces armor to 65% for 30 secs.

As you can see there's nothing wrong with the duration, but the problem lies in the fact that it reduces armor TO x%, not BY x%, something that's really easy to fix in the code, but I'm not sure if they have done this yet (haven't seen it mentioned in the patch notes yet). So until they fix it the basic Armor Break is actually more effective in reducing armor, even if it only lasts for a short time.
