just curious i see such a broad range of ..full armor...no armor..and cant get any armor brawlers out there....has any one played around with all combos..? and who like what the best?

wookies can't wear armor

but I guess that you wear asking 2 separate questions. so:

I don't play a wookie, I play a bothan.

Used to wear a full set of chitin, now usually just wear legs/boots cuz I like the spec ops duster, and haven't really noticed a difference with/without the armor on.

I play a Wookie, just got Battlemaster and took a break to read the boards.

Can Wookies wear anything that resembles armor? I hope there is at least socketed Wookie clothes.

Wookies cant wear armour. And just got a full suit of composite (I can wear it w/o food woot!) and I've always been in a full suit of armour (except in beggining...struggling for the girly armour mabari). Hope it helps

i got full wookie armor and havent noticed any negative effects. its probably because its just clothes and not armor really.

I'm not a wookie and personally would not be a melee wookie in this game.

There is no way I could kill the stuff that I kill without armor. Baz's hit for the 200's at a pretty good pace. Maybe if I had a doctor with me rather than a medic... but even then, being hit in the mind pool for 200 damage is going to give you a lot of downtime or worse.

My current armor is a mix of Chitin, Tantel and Mabari. Started out as full Chiten but I switched to Tantel helm and chest to reduce encumberance and mabari legs for the same reason.

Everything hitting me for half damage makes all the difference.

i used to wear a mix of chiten and bone but found the encumbrance to be a pain now i only wear bone armour gloves

Yes, wookies can wear their own battle armor... but it doesn't really do anything... except make you look cool as well. Especially the one with markings on it. Looks so tribal.

So... stop running around naked and visit your local master tailor, today!
