anyone had experience when u're using area attack and the damage shows up but the enemy don't take damage?... i had at least one experience like this andi thought it was just the lag...

but apparently in the rifleman forum ppl are having similar issue..

anyway, i had the problem with sweep2 (area lower posture)... the 3 guys surrounding me would lower their posture.. and take 1000+ damage(on their head..)... i did it 3 times... and they only have 3k hp...

the guy i target dies.. the other two hasalmost full health.. and i didn't miss (checked combat screen afterward)

so.. yeah.. thats it.

don't know, but I never use Spin2, because area2 does the exact same stuff. I have area3 which is supposed to do even more than area2, but maybe I'm bugged or the attack is bugged, and it's only doing the area2 attack instead.

I've noticed a pretty huge discrepency with the damage that shows above the mobs head vs which shows in the combat window. Often times I'm showing 1000's or more damage being on the mobs head and looking in the combat window only seeing 500 - 800 or so with the rare 1000-2000+'s.. I thought maybe it was the gross damage being shown above the mobs head then the actual damage (minus their kenetic resistance and other things) in the combat window but there are some mobs that have hardly any resist to kenetic and the math just doesn't add up. I'm not sure what number to look at as far as damage goes anymore.

The overhead number is the actual damage dealt. The number in the chat box is the base damage before modification based on armor rating of your foe, weapon armor piercing value, and resistances (and whatever else factors in to damage calculation).

yeah, I've experienced this problem with my rifle. My multi target says that I hit them, but it really doesn't.
