For hammers, loot acklay bones. You get them from the end beast in the geno cave. The hammer made with them will be a little slower as it won't have the speed mods a crafted re-core has. Its also going to be less accurate.
For 2 hand curved swords, you have bile soaked rancor teeth. I beleive that they drop from ancient rancors. I haven't been impressed with any sword built using them. Advanced sword cores are usually much better.
Then, you can loot geno sword and re-cores in the Geno Lab. They will all have funky range mods. Typically, the ideal range will be much better than the other 2. They vary in damage and speed. My fastest crafted hammer was made using one that was -.7 speed. Hammer turned out at 5.2, with damage equal to my normal adv core hammer. You can also loot geno sword core and re-core schematics there. They will need geno power cubes and solidifying paste..
