Thread: has anybody found the other ways to get the scythe schematics?

i've been out of game for almost two months, as my subscription wore out and i have trouble getting away from where i live in order to buy a game card, and i was wondering, if anybody knows another way to get the scythe schematic?
reason being is i lost my schematic while i was not able to play, because i had it in my house and while i was away my house deteriorated to nothing, and thus i lost everything in it, the worst part of it is that the house went poof two days before i was able to get back to playing. i have yet to reset my tatooine quests to get the second schematic, but the thing is i'm now down a scythe schematic... bah.

You can reset your mission status so you can do it one more time. You need to talk to some random NPC.

thanks for mentioning that, butalas i already know that, as i was a master swordsman long before the days of the scythe.. i'm just kind of grumbling that i lost my one scythe schematic, along withalot of other things, but that other stuff can be replaced, where as the scythe schematic quest is a two time deal, and i was wondering if people had found the other ways to get them that TH mentioned there were (but didnt give any hints about what they could possibly have been).
also in my absence for the last couple months did anybody ask about the other ways to get the scythe for one of our 19 anwsers? if not i propose we ask it sometime.

Go to lok and rub two power hammers over eachother at the top of the volcanoe till the scythe god grants you ever lasting scythe schematics.

get trial account....and just farm 2 schems with it, then cancel it

It has been asked. I got some info that I'm not sure I can release yet . . . although I'm a tad skeptical due to the fact that no other scythe schematics have been found in 4+ months. Hopefully we'll get an answer released and then we can try to see if anything comes out of that. Unfortunately my suspicion is that the other two ways are not working yet and it's going to be up to us to "prove" that and get some action. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

If we must "prove" that the other ways are not working, but we don't know what the other two ways are, then how do we prove they're not working????? Catch 22... St.Gabe??

There is no other way, just the Community Relations dept. simply tell us there is because they don't want to be yelled at for the obvious bad communication between teams. The person who says what the Development team works on probably dosen't even have a clue what the current state of the game is. At least this is what it seems like to me - some changes are being made that sound good 'on paper' - weapon/armor delay for example: But in-game make the bad professions worse and the overpowered ones even more overpowered. (Compare a Bounty Hunter to a Combat Medic in Weapons delay terms.)

I'm guessing that he means we'll have to prove they don't work AFTER he's allowed to tell us what the two ways are. I doubt he wants us to prove something doesn't work when we don't know what it is.

You can sometime find them on vendors(on my server anyways). Also people sale them on the trade forums. Or you can have a friend do the quest for you(if they have not already) Thats how I got 4 schematic and now have 4 scythe sitting ready to use. Plus if your in a guild talk to them and see who has done the quest and offer them some money to do the quest for you. Have you talked with a CSR about resetting your house? It does not hurt to try. But those are the only things I know of that you can try. Hope this helps.
