Thread: Can a Master sword/brawler stand against speed cap pikeman w/ dot weapon?

First this ax wouldn´t help u much...has only slow disease with imo 50 damage...Second when his fire-dot has good potency and strenght he will whip the floor with your a$$...cuz the dot will eat your mind faster as u could drain his mind down with hh3...imo u only have a chance if he´s notprepared well...if it stands:
you = migrated mind to max. + both mindbuffs + 2 brandies + mediation + vercupti and may emergency muon AND he = may 1k mind and 2 brandies....give it a try...otherwise... Dont fight with dot-whorse or become a swords/doc...

swords can but it really depends on player skill on both sides

All depends on the DOT weapon, really.
Win or lose, you're probably going to need a Doctor and/or Entertainer afterwards.

Kinda a loaded question don't you think? It depends on so many variables its hard to make a choice as to who would win. Is the Swordsman also speed capped? Is the Swordsman using DOT weapons also (if your master brawler you can use Nightsister Lances for example). What type/power of DOT are you talking about?
There is no way of knowing the outcome of this type of fight just by saying the names of the proffesions involved.

LOL, I don't really care about afterward, since I got meditate line from TKA, just want to win the battle

Use center of being always, then warcry 2 him then intimidate him then try to hit him with your scythe with 2h hit 3 so you land dizzy and then go for KD and just smash his mind, that's all you can do really, also take pikatta pie. Hopefully with the pie+CoB+intimidate he won't be able to hit you until after he gets up from KD which shouldn't happen if you get him fast enough.
