Thread: Novice Swordsman....what to hunt?

I just made Novice Swordsman, and was wondering how to get the best XP?
I have read other posts that say go for x-x-1-x then x-4-1-x and I will do that. But where is the most XP to be gained. I normally use Spin Hit 1 and use a Power Hammer with max dmg 450 (I think).
Am I powerful enough for Quenkers on Dant? My other skills are Master Artisan (for money making) and Scout 4-1-3-0.

yes yes yes yes yes. Also try Huurton Huntresses. More XP, sometimes more per lair. They take slightly longer to kill, but they're as not dangerous as quenkers and you'll get more XP before you need to run back and get another pair of missions. Harvest their Wooley Hide, too.
Also, why are you master artisan for money making? You only need survey 1 or 2 and business 3 to be a successful miner 
EDIT: Buffed and armored of course, with ~400 brandy to keep your mind up. Doesn't need to be super armor; I wear ~60% kinetic wookiee left arm, right arm, and body only, and I need a stim B here and there but I'm fine otherwise.

Ditch the power hammer and get a 2 handed curved sword. At novie your to inaccurate to use it effectivly and your probably swinging extremely slow. Go up the speed tree first, then defensive then offensive, filling in the 4 th as you go, once you cna use a scythe make you a grdiing one. I wouldnt use a hmmer untill master. Im Master Swordsman and if a creautre has the same resis to blast and kinetic..ill use my sycthe, 1 swing for the hammer = 2 swings for the scythe
