Thread: Two-handed speed AAs prices are out of control

Recently i just saw a total of +10 two-handed melee speed sell for 22 million, this kind of pricing is outrageous and is pretty muchforcing the swordsman to go master AS or some other very high profit proffesion. Not even experimentation tapes sell for this kind of money. On the Flurry server the Nyax spawn is camped by 3 people with around 10 accounts that are all master Rifleman and Swordsman so its near impossible to outdamage them. The prices on these tapes need to go down in a big hurry...

supply and demand my friend. demand is high, supply is low, prices aren't going to change because you want them to unfortunately. I've dropped about 20 million on +12 2h speed in the form of a few AAs. not much of a way around it besides finding your own which is extremely rare.

there is a +25 2 handed speed aa on auction in my galaxy ( tempest ) . the bids at around 35 million with several days of bidding to go . its expected to go for around 60 million and thats a lot of credits n my server because our economy is relatively in great shape compared to the earlier and more populated servers in which a lot of duping happened in the first few months .

my speed cost me around 24million... wish i could say it wasn't worth it.. but it is 
at the end of the day, with being speed capped i can easily make more money... speed capped swordsman is just awesome damage, and so much fun too.

I'm capped, and my speed cost me 8 mil total! The biggest skilltape was a +12 (CA), I got for 7.6 mil...That was 2 months ago....I'm sure if I decided to sell the belt it's on, it would go for...about 15+ mil.

Hah! 96 speed for me has only cost me 1mil plus some pistol speed tapes I looted (this is inthe last month).

Prices won't drop until people stop wanting them, as long as they're so desireable people will constantly try and out bit each other to get it which is what drives prices up, I don't much like it myself as I'm a swordsman and not very rich - but that's just the way it is, no one can put a price cap on these things so ...

Tell me about it.
I look for speed AAs and CAs everyday, and before I can get a minimum bid in(which are usually way over my budget), they're already boughtout.

hehe, well swordsman ARE uber looters. All the awesome loots that are found have a link to swordsman or pikemen somewhere. Spending 2 hours hunting nightsisters lead to finding great stuff which i can end up sellling to make me money like that. (Just looted a +15 2 hand accuracy aa,a 1500 damage lva and a 816 one with 9/5/4 ham cost and 2.0 speed yesterday!).

Heh..you're kidding right? I think the loot tables on my server are jacked, because I never loot squat other than base lances and other assorted junk. Never gotten a CA or AA of note, but I seem to be able to get a lot of pretty crystals to decorate my house.

on valcyn we've had some pretty wild 2h auctions too.
one guy was selling a total of +24 spd in the form of a belt, bandolier, and shirt. ended up going for a buyout of 35 million (I only had 29 million /cry) and im SURE it would have gone higher if one of the other bidders hadn't been out of town and the buyout had been lowered. i thought for sure he was going to bid the 45 mill buyout that was added halfway thru but he was out of town and never saw it.
another one was for a +25 2h spd AA which was on auction for about 10 seconds and then got bought out for a paltry 25 million because the seller sold it to his buddy... wow did he catch a bunch of flak for that. that thread is still going on actually. it was over in 2 posts and its like 3 pages long now lol.
