I'd advise to go x-x-1-x then up to x-4-1-x, then to x-4-4-x, and finally to 4-4-4-x

Obviously, fill in the Combat Exp tree as you go.

I agree with the posts above. xx1x then x41x is what I am doing and it has made it much a easier climb .

yeah, spin will pretty much double your xp gain spinning lairs and such, then speed will increase the speed of your spinning frenzy... so you'll be grinding very fast at that point. After you get spin and speed.... it's not far till the end of your grind

man I'm so psyched to get better at swordsman... just earned enough for novice last night, and have enough combat XP to get to xxx1 immediately. This is much more fun than CH was.
