And i did some calculations here they are. The acklay powerhammer in my calculations were from an auction found in the Scylla Galaxy trade forums.

Now for your Acklay
Cost: much more then 7.5k. I have seen Acklay go for 450k.

Now if you look at all the DPS..... My hammer hits HARDER!! every second than yours in EVERY SPECIAL ATTACK!!! for a lot less $$$. Just a fact i feel like pointing out to acklay owners. Not to mention i have several of these 3.7's layin around...many more than anyone has of acklay.

Now is can someone clear this up? why ever bother spending a lot on acklay if its useless....?? or is this particular PH very poor quality??? some help would be appriciated.

The stats given on the acklay hammer you used for an example are with bones that have 118 max damage(or there abouts.) While not bad, it doesn't touch the bones that have max damage stats of 180+. They were really bones that should've been used in a baton or gaffi stick.
Second, remember that alot of swordsmen that use acklays have more than 80 speed. Alot of them are capped. And then a damage sliced acklay hammer rocks.

i wouldn't recommend acklay PHs to nonspeedcapped individuals...

the speed of the weapon means zilch when you are speed capped. thus acklay>normal when you are capped. anyone who is not capped or very close to it is wasting their time using an acklay hammer.

Acklay power hammers are good for PvE only.
Take a look at the range modifiers. All 3 are -40, so you wont be able to hit anyone who has decent dodge.
It is great for PvE though.

my 2 hammers have the exact same stats as you have listed except that the aklay one is 4.1 speed . i have +78 2 handed speed and my damage per second is slightly more using the aklay ( for head hit 3 , the only move i use for elders or krayts ).

Yea, i've been an advocate for speed sliced normal hammers since i put the calculator online.
When you swing an acklay hammer at cap though.... you can hit some awesome DPS.

I break 4000dps using HH3 with my acklay hammer.
