be patient is all i can say. i have killed easily over 1000 elders and countless spellweavers/protectors. dont give up, you will be rewarded. i had this very same problem when i started. 1st elder i killed, took me probably 30 mintues and i think all i got was credits. now with my doc/rifleman tagging along, i drop elders in less than 4 mintues. average buff session i kill 20 elders. the drop rate is probably 1:150 or 1:200 for nice skill tapes. they drop crystals i bet 1:10 to 1:15. you will be rewarded eventually, but its not like everytime u will get something.

from my experiences, you get on "hot" loot streaks. on friday in oneand a half buff sessions, i looted:

6 premium crystals (elder)

+25 medical experimentation tape / +20 ranged aiming (elder)

+25 carbine speed AA (elder)

+11 artisan experimentation / +6 medical experimentation / +6 1h lame mod (protector)

+9 wound treatment speed (1st sentinel i killed in the buff sessions)

i go days without finding anything but clasps/leather/shards/layers, then i get nice skill attachments. i do one buff session at night. just kill fast and kill a lot. use a scythe to rip up anything not named elder. because of the low drop rate on nice stuff from elders, i'd recommend NOT doing them solo unless you are speed capped or have a friend with you.

I have to say I have never ever looted a single attachments....since August. But then again, I just reactivated last month

sorry to ask but where do you go to fight the nightsisters? just run around dathomir or go to the stronhold?

Run around the Stronghold. I usually just ride back and forth between the SH and the NS vs. Singing area.

Killed about 60 Protectors and Spellweavers so far...still grinding it out...no friggin decent loot yet! Doh!

Hehe only 60, lol im on 79 and the best thing i have gotten are 5 locked containers (which i still need opened lol) so I may have gotten something good and just dont know it yet.

I'm into the several 1000 in Protectors and Spell Weavers, I have never gotten an (Exceptional) or (Legendary) weapon, but then again, I shouldn't expect to. I have gotten a few nice loots, but nothing great. Just be persistant, you might get something nice eventually.
